Elder Bearnson - April 16, 2018

New Companion Elder Bearson

We went bowling on Monday for p-day and Sis Funk in our zone kicked all of our butts.
 she was on a bowling team back home. so she wrecked us. 

We hardcore cleaned our apartment
 and we took out like 7 trash bags of trash it was gross.
 The mess wasn't from us, it was from previous Elders. s/o to Elder Bingham

 We had a baptism on Saturday so that was awesome.
 His name was Chris Schooley.

I got a haircut because my hair was super long. I could lick it.

So this week has been freaking awesome. My new companions name is Elder Bearnson. You guys could have probably guessed that. he is from the great land of bountiful Utah. haha shocker. He graduated just this last year and his birthday is in fact today and he is turning 19. So he is a youngin. hahaha. but we get along so well and he is such an awesome companion. The work is going really well right now because we are hitting the grind everyday and doing everything we can to help get this area moving. 

One awesome miracle that has happened this week is that Elder Bearnson and I wanted to see some thing change in our zones so we set some zone goals for ourselves and one of our goals was to get the zone more motivated to go tracting because for some reason everyone hates it. but we love it. so we decided that we needed to go and get a miracle about tracting to share it with the zone. so we go tracting one night. and we knocked on 4 doors and talked to 3 solid people. One of the doors we talked with was a mom and her son. April and Abel. and they are sooooo prepared. We taught them the restoration right there on the spot for about 30 minutes and she had tons of questions for us and she told us that she believes that her children need to be baptized. We came back later this week and asked if she has read any of the Book of Mormon and she has read the first two chapter and she even told us about all that she read and then she asks, "do you guys have any more of the pamphlets that i could read?" Elder Bearnson and I both look at each other in awe. We are sooo shocked that this is actually going down. So we give her a plan of salvation pamphlet and she is suppose to be reading it right now but she is in Ohio right now so we haven't been able to meet with her yet.  That is our tracting miracle and we were able to share it with the zone and it seemed like they were a little more motivated and some even told us an hourly goal for tracting that they wanted to have for the week. so it is super cool. 

Sorry that was hecka long. but this week has been super good.

It is currently snowing right now. Indiana is weird. 

I don't think anything else has happened this week. 

 I love the mission and I love what it has done to me. I have been able to see myself grow so much. I'm so glad that I took this opportunity. It has really changed my life for the better. My testimony in the savior has grown so much and I have found my testimony of the Book of Mormon. I know that it is real and true. I know it can bring us joy and happiness when we read it. and it can answer all of our questions. Read it daily. It blesses us more than we can comprehend.
