Motorcycles for Days - April 4, 2018

Elder Turley got a chance to say hello to the Lewis Family.
One of his favorite families from Carmel.
He got added to the family plate.
At one of his dinner appointments they got to see the owners garage.
Elder Turley was in heaven.  This man had 39 motorcycles and an airplane.
He can't wait to go back after he get released to go riding or flying with him.

A great day of discussion and counseling together at MLC on Friday, April 6, 2018. We began our meeting with "Joy to the World"!

This week has been awesome! Super fun week!

One miracle that has happened this week is that the sisters knocked on this guys door who loves across the street of our ward mission leader. The sister said the guy wasn't really interested but willing to talk. So we go back over and knock on his door. We chat with him a little and he says we can come back. So we come back next week and he lets us in and we talked for quite some time about religion. We gave him a restoration pamphlet. And he said we can come back again. Moral of the story. Talk to your neighbors. You never know who might be interested. It's our job as members to open our mouths

Also Chris will be getting baptized on Saturday.  Chris is super solid and he is awesome. He is basically already Mormon. When we taught him something he would just say "oh yeah I already believe that". He is the easiest person to teach. Usually missionaries get super stressed about baptism week because there is so much we gotta do. But we went and talks to him about the baptism. And he basically said "don't worry we got everything. I got speakers, songs, prayers, everything". So we just get to take a step back and watch it all happen

We got transfer calls this week! I am officially 6 transfers into my mission. Man time flies. But Elder Landon is going to be leaving and he is going to Brazil, Indiana. And I am staying and getting Elder Bearnson. He came out to the mission with me. And he will become a zone leader with me. I'm super sad about Landon leaving. He was a homie. He is the most done to earth guy. I will always remember the things that he has taught me.

Also we went to a dinner this week and they love out in a little town in our area about 12 miles out. And he lives on his own runway for his airplane. So he flies and fixes airplanes for a living. And he also collects BMW motorcycles and he has 39 of them. And most of them are able to run. He has some crazy biking stories. He said if I come back after my mission we can go on a ride together (airplane and motorcycle). So that's hype.

Also we had to go to Carmel for a meeting. So I was able to have dinner at the Lamberts who were my favorite people in Carmel and then we went and visited the Lewis' (waffle family). I love them so much. Me and elder pond (my comp back in the day) will always be a part of this families lives.

Well I love everyone so much. Thank you for all that you guys do for me. I really appreciate all the love and support I get. I made some goals for this next transfer and from here on out it only goes up.
