In case you are wondering about the cold weather here in Indiana, here is an email that we sent out to the missionaries today to prepare them:
Due to the extreme temperatures that are hitting Indian from an arctic front we feel a need to advise you regarding protecting yourself from the dangers of frost bite and hypothermia.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be destructive temperatures. If you are in a warm car and going to an appointment in a warm environment you can go out. No biking or extended walking outside. Even in cars be ready for emergencies for extended times in the cold.
If you do go out, please wear winter coats, hats, boots, gloves and scarves. Layer your clothing. Do not put yourself in danger. Frost bite is a burn. It does not initially hurt but as the tingling sensation goes away the burn will hurt. Please be wise and stay in as necessary. The chill factor forces the temperatures down and your skin freezes quickly.

Appointments can be changed; staying outside is unwise. I suspect this is the LAND OF THE FROZEN CHOSEN.
