The last Mission Leadership Council with President and Sister Carlson was Friday (June 7, 2019). The mission will be in good hands! We live in basically a hotel |
1. I was able to visit some families in Carmel before transfers... And a quick summary of this. It was the Fisher family. And the Lewis family. And I got some good motivation to work super hard this last transfer from this night. It was probably a highlight of the mission. These families talked to me and elder pond about how great of missionaries we were and how much we have touched their families and the people around us. It was just a good pump up to go out and finish strong. Those families mean a lot to me.
2. Fort Wayne is dooopppeee. Our work is in the ghetto of Fort Wayne and its so fun here. I don't think we have taught a single white person yet. Just African Americans and Hispanics. I love it. And we are sooooo busy
2.5. My apartment here is soo dope as well. We live in basically a hotel. And we live on the 7th floor. It's like a pent house. It's sooo big and rookies and we have full size beds. It's dope. And we have some sick views of the river and the sunset.
3. I have a personal goal to invite someone everyday to be baptized and so far we have been able to do it and we have seen sooo many miracles. Not every time some one has said yes but we now have 4 new people on date and man the work is going toooo smoothly and there are so many Hispanics here that are willing to change. I love this place.
4. My spiritual well being. I have grown so much in this past week. I have studied super hard and I am loving it. I am speaking Spanish a ton and studying in Spanish and man, I am just so happy in life right now. It could not be better.
And yeah that's about it for this week. We can now meet up on p-days so we have some elders here and we are tryna play some basketball so imma keep this short.
I love you all and just know I am excited to come home and see familiar faces and maybe some new faces... I love you all.
Elder Turley
