Elder Goodrich Elder Vazquez

Elder McCall
So this week has been something. We got some work done this week. We definitely grinded hard in Plymouth. This week I was able to go to my old area (Elkhart) and spend some quality time with Elder Vazquez. So let me tell you about it.
So to start off this week.
Monday night: We start our exchanges with South bend and I got the chance to go with Elder Goodrich in South bend and we stopped by some family that I knew there.
Tuesday: I was still in South bend with Goodrich and I stayed the night there again... And we did some work.
Wednesday: We met up with the zone leaders who live in Elkhart and I went with Elder Vazquez and I got to see some of the people I taught while I was in Elkhart. Ohhh man I miss those people... They took me in just like they did before. We had 2 dinners while we were there... People just wanted to feed me. Amazing. Then I stayed the night there. It was cool to see the apartment and see the same things that I had done when I was there... (Shout-out to Elder Sheeran for putting a hole in the wall with his foot because he got dunked on.)
Thursday-Sunday: Grinding in Plymouth
Hmmm this week has definitely been an interesting week. And it was so good to see my family and talk to everyone, even tho all we talked about was me going home... Lol I'm fine... I'm not trunky at all. I swear I'm a good obedient missionary. Lol.
But this week a man named Jose Cantero (a recent convert) passed the sacrament for the first time since he was baptized a little over a month ago or maybe 2... And man what a sight that was.. Afterwards we talked with him and he just had a smile on his face that he couldn't wipe off. He said he felt good and that it made him happy. And it's crazy to think that he speaks maybe 25 English words but he can come into an English branch and serve as much as possible and he probably feels way out of place and awkward and confused... But he is happy. And that is the fullness of the gospel right there... He feels the Spirit and that is all that matters. There is a scripture... It is one of my favorite.. It's in the first chapter of the book of Mormon. And it's verse 15 and imma paraphrase here but it says something along the lines of "because of the things you which he had seen (Lehi just had a vision and saw some things of God), his heart was filled and his soul did rejoice" I know we too can have that same feeling. As we partake of the everlasting gospel, we can have that joy that Lehi was able to feel. And I was able to see that this week with Jose Cantero. What an example he is to all.
I love you all and I hope you guys have a great week. BTW I HIT MY 22 MONTH MARK (guys I swear I'm not trunky)
