"I lost my hearing in my right eye" -Juan Carlos - September 24, 2018

Probably one of my favorite districts
SOUTH BEND DISTRICT

Mission Leadership Council today (September 20, 2018). We enjoyed another day of training from Elder Hamilton and President Carlson.
Wednesday was mission tour zone conference with the Indy North, South Bend, Fort Wayne and Lafayette zones. This include our wonderful office staff who made it all run smoothly! (from the Mission face book page)

I am so happy we have this restored gospel
Alright everyone, my weekly emails have been kind of weak lately and someone called me out a couple weeks ago because they aren't spiritual (Elder Pond)... So we are going to get spiritual. But first... We Had transfers and I am................... Staying again with Elder Moake. This will be my 4th transfer in Elkhart and my 3rd transfer with Elder Moake. I am way excited and we are going to have a good transfer!!!

Okay so this past week, I have been thinking a lot about our conversion and our testimonies. And in zone conference with Elder Hamilton (member of the 70), we talked a little about our conversion and what it means to be converted... But I have really been thinking about it lately and talking with missionaries about where I am right now in the gospel and where I want to be. And some might ask... Elder Turley how do you get where you want to be? Well let me answer that for you... It's not going to happen over night but over a life time. I need to read my scriptures and converse daily with my heavenly father. I need to constantly be putting oil in my lamp to keep the fire burning. And that is how eventually we will get where we want to be.

But I am so happy we have this restored gospel. And I want everyone to know how much I have changed. I'm not the crazy teenager kid I was a year ago. The gospel has truly changed me and I have finally realized my full potential as a son of God and a missionary right now. My attitude towards the work has changed tremendously. And I am excited to have the opportunity to come home when I am finished and live the gospel the correct way.

But more importantly I want my parents to know how much I love them, and I know if they are reading this they are probably thinking "who is typing my sons email?" but I appreciate all you guys have done for me. And I want you to know that it has clicked for me. I am 100% all in. I'm ready to do the work and be all in.
