Went on Splits with Elder Stevens.
He is from Queen Creek and did swim with me.

The bullet hole next to our apartment window.

Do you ever just hear people sing...and then you think to yourself....I wish I could sing...

Okay this week has been insane. It has involved GRINDING, EXCHANGES, DRIVING, TRIOS,AND SPANISH and MORE GUNSHOTS!.  So hold on to your fat because its about to get jiggly...

So at the beginning of the week we went up to Niles and went on exchanges with Elder Winterholler and Elder Steadman. (I love those guys)  President closed down the Niles area so now we are in a trio with Elder Winterholler.  Elder Steadman went down to my old area with my old comp (shout out to Elder Bearnson)  and they are in a trio now... and let me tell you... trios are insanely fun.. a little too fun. Everything becomes a little more gay, a little more competitive, and a lot more missionary work haha.

But yeah this week has been good. Slso we went on exchanges with Elder Stevens and Elder Nielson. I went with Elder Stevens. He is from AZ and we swam in high school together. so he is dope.  It was fun to talk about people from back home with him.

Also a little update about the shooting last week. Yesterday there was another shooting and we heard it while we were teaching the people outside and it sounded like it came from our apartment complex so we went and looked and the cops were there and showed us where it happened.... and there were three bullet holes in the outside of the building... 1 of them went into the window of the people above us (they were the ones that shot last time) , and 2 went into the wall next to our window and one of them was only a foot away from our window. hahaha Elkhart is crazy. but i love it. Sorry mom.

Okay but for reals. While learning Spanish I have really been humbled. before as an English missionary I could talk my way around any problem and in my head I was a great missionary but going to Spanish has been the best thing that has happened to me. I have really learned to rely on the Lord in this work.  I have come to really know that this is not the work of Elder Turley but it is the work of God and I am just an instrument he uses to make it happen.  I love my mission. I.m sorry my weekly emails aren't spiritual but I will change that...
